Why Team Hell No should split up!
Last year the most unlikely outcome from one of the hot summer-feuds in the WWE happened. Daniel Bryan and Kane had been involved in a love-triangle with AJ Lee and Cm Punk. Both Bryan and Kane let their emotions get in their way, when both men fought Cm Punk for the WWE-title. The script WWE delivered was pure genius, because not only did it allow Cm Punk to retain the title, but both Bryan and Kane looked strong after their feud with Punk ended. When Punk went on to face new contenders for the title, Bryan and Kane continued their feud towards Summerslam 2012. Bryan played the heel during their feud, while Kane played a monster face who wanted to punish pretty much everyone. Their feud took a great turn when Bryan managed to defeat Kane via a roll-up pin victory at Summerslam. This made Kane even more furious for the months to come, which eventually ended with him targeting Bryan for revenge. Kane got his revenge, which culminated with a Bryan character change. When their feud was as hot as it possibly could be, AJ Lee announced that both men had to go trough anger-therapy if they didn't want to get fired. Eventually Bryan and Kane found themselves teaming up by the hands of their "shrink" Dr Shelby. This led to the rise of the most dominating tag-team since DX in 2009, known as "Team Hell No". Bryan and Kane has held their titles for almost nine months now, and they have only lost four tag-team matches since their reign started. But now its time for both men to split up, and start their singles careers again.
Here are some reasons why:
1) Both men are great single-competitors
Both Kane and Bryan are most known for their runs as single competitors. Kane has been considered as the second best "giant" for 15 years now, only behind his scripted brother The Undertaker. There was a time Kane was even considered as the best "giant" in the company, when he held the WHC-title and defeated his brother in three consecutive PPVs in a row. But when Kane returned with his masc on he slowly took a turn from his monster gimmick to his comedy gimmick that he is known for now. While Daniel Bryan got the spotlight turned on him when he won the Money In The Bank briefcase at the MITB ppv in 2011. He went on to cash in the briefcase and defeat Big Show to earn the WHC-title. He held the title for almost five months, before he lost it at Wrestlemania 28 in the shortest WHC-title match in WWEs history. But Bryan kept proving the world that he indeed is one of the greatest in-ring competitors the past century.
Both men has proven enough as a tag-team. Now its time to let them shine as serious single competitors again. Kane can be used to put over rising stars, while Bryan should be placed back in the WHC-title picture again.
2) The tag-team scene needs to be refreshed
Bryan and Kane has dominated the tag-team scene for almost nine months now. Meaning that other great teams such as the Prime Time players, RhodeScolars, The Usos, Primo and Epico and Tons of Funks have been held back. If you want a dominating tag-team scene you can not rely on one team to carry the load. By splitting up Team Hell No other great teams get their opportunity to shine in the spotlight. This should happen soon, if not the tag-team scene will not be as relevant as it was when Team Hell No was still hot.
3) Both Bryan and Kane are being held back from the main-event scene
Many people has been complaining about the fact that WWE are missing enough superstars who can enter the main-event scene. Daniel Bryan and Kane are both made for the main-event scene. By using them in the tag-team scene, you take away two great single competitors who should be in the main-event scene as single competitors.
Both men should also change their gimmicks if they split up. Bryan should go back to his old babyface gimmick, which made him so popular. While Kane should snap one more time, and let his rage out on the entire WWE-roster again.
What do you think the WWE should do with Team Hell No? Should they split up, or should they continue as a tag-team? Tell us your opinion in the comment section bellow.
