Wrestlemania 29 breakdown and build up!

This years Wrestlemania is one of the most star-studded show of all time. Two of the three main-events are rematches, which builds up anticipation if Lesnar and Rocky can beat their opponents two in a row. The show has ended up with a great match-card, where so far 12 wrestlers will make their Wrestlemania debut. The Shield, Ryback, Damion Sandow, Fandango, Kaitlyn, the Funcadeliks, Brodus Clay, Big E Langston and AJ Lee will make their debut at the grandest stage of them all. So lets break down this years card, with some info about the match, and some tips for the outcome of each match.

1) Mixed tag-team match
in one corner you have the smoking hot Bella-twins riding it out with "team Einstein". While in the other corner you got a couple of groovy dancers, mixing it up with two powerhouses. Who should win?

Only Damion Sandow and Cody Rhodes has anything to gain in this feud. So they should take it home with the Bella twins.

The build up of this match has been weird, it feels like a card-filler.
Who knows, it might not make it on the main-card. (two matches will be fought on the pre-show)

2) The Miz vs Wade Barrett
In one corner you have an "undefeated" Wrestlemania-competitor (He has lost two dark matches previous). He has everything to gain by a win. In the other corner you have the champion who still struggles to make it on the top level of this business. He has been a great player for a while now, but still creatives has not given him a top feud as a solo competitor.

But in this match Miz should take the win, to extend his Mania-streak, and to bring some props back on the IC-title. Barrett can move up a stage and fight for one of the world-titles for a while. While Miz can make the mid-card good again, before he climbs back on the top again.

The build up has been great. Both men has cut promos against each other, and the match feel kind of personal which is great.

3) The Shield vs Big Show, Orton and Sheamus
This is a match which will be remembered for a while, if WWE plays it right. You have the potential to make Big Show a full face again, while Orton should turn heel. The Shield must win this match because they have everything to gain on it.

The build up has been great, and this feud has ended smackdown a couple of times now which is good.
The match has great potential, time will show how good it will be.

4) Fandango vs Chris Jericho
Fandango makes his official WWE-debut at Wrestlemania, against one all-timer in Y2J. For those who has been watching Fandango (Curt Hawkins) before he got his new gimmick, you know how great he is in the ring.

Fandango needs to win, Y2J has nothing left to prove in this business. A win for Fandango will elevate his career to new heights.

Build up has been about "say my name", which has been fun and it has created a lot of heat.

5) Ryback vs Mark Henry
Two powerhouses faces each other in a battle of giants. Who will show most courage and win the battle? My guess is Ryback, the young star needs a win in this match to elevate his status as a top face in this business. Henry has nothing to gain by winning this match.

This feud started with a couple of stare downs, but it soon elevated to a war between the two giants. The build has been better and better. This will be an epic showdown.

6) Jack Swagger vs Alberto Del Rio
This has been a real personal feud with a lot of hot topics involved. Immigration and racism are two hot topics which has been gaining attention outside the ring to. Who will win this feud?

Jack Swagger is undefeated at Wrestlemania, he has a 2-0 record. Most likely he will lose this match because of his struggles outside of the ring. Del Rio needs a win to help him get more over with the crowd.

This has been an intense build up, and I really look foreword to when these two look horns with each other.

7) Triple H vs Brock Lesnar
My personal opinion is very clear on this match. It should never have happened. Once again Triple H shows his massive ego, by putting himself in a match where he has nothing to gain. Yes its a grudge match, because of all the harm Lesnar has done to HHH and his close ones. But still, WWE are trying to build HHH like a machine who can overcome every obstacle. This makes the feud lose all its credibility. And the added stipulation ruined the outcome of the match. If HHH loses he will retire. This will not happen, when you know that WM30 is next year.

HHH will win, which ruins everything Lesnar has been built for.

8) Cm Punk vs The Undertaker
This match has the potential to be one of the great-ones. Two legends, both epic at promos, and both men delivers 98% of the time. Their in great shape, their feud has been fantastic. This will be a masterpiece, mark my word.

Yes Taker will probably win, but that is okay. This match will elevate the status of Punk as a top heel, no matter if he wins or loses.

9) The Rock vs John Cena
Greatness vs Redemption. This feud has been good so far. I wanted a rematch between these two superstars. I know they will create another great match together. This time Cena must win, but I have my doubts he will win.

Everyone remembers the epic Rock vs Stone Cold feud. This feud reminds me of their feud. When Rock feuded with Stone Cold, he was the one who had everything to gain by winning, just like Cena has now. But it took him 3 tries to overcome Stone Cold at Wrestlemania. He lost two bouts against Austin at Wrestlemania. I think this is going to be the case with Cena to. Hear me up, if he loses this one to. He might turn heel, if Ryback is ready to take the top seat. Cena could be an unstoppable power, who defeats Rock at Extreme Rules, and holds on to the title until Royal Rumble. Here he could lose it to Ryback or someone else, because of interference by Undertaker. This would set up the long awaited Mania bout between two of the greatest in this business. Cena could end Takers streak, gaining a lot of heat. Then he could go on to win the WWE-championship later this year. He could then defend it against Rock at Wrestlemania 31, where he finally would defeat the great one at Wrestlemania. But most likely this will not happen. Cena will win this match, and then again overcome the odds in their rematch at Wrestlemania.

Summary!
So what do you think of this years Mania? Which matches do you think will deliver? Which matches will have surprising endings? Tell me your opinion.

Have a great one!

The Undertaker vs Cm Punk will steal the show at Wrestlemania 29!

Tonight's ending of Raw officially started the build up between Undertaker and Cm Punk, before the two giants clashes at Wrestlemania. What an ending, and what a way to honor Paul Bearer by bringing him and the legendary urn (who defined The brothers of destruction) in to the story-line.

Its still 3 Raw's left until Wrestlemania. These two top stars will play this story-line so well and push it so close to the limit, that us the fans will be so psyched before they finally clashes at Wrestlemania. Yes Undertaker is the clear favorite, and most likely his streak will stay intact after Wrestlemania. But that does not mean that this match has the possibility to become one of the greatest matches in WWE's history. I am not exaggerating now. Undertaker has delivered epic bouts since Wrestlemania 21. While Cm Punk has already been in three modern classics. He and Cena has delivered 4-instant classics against each other, while his two matches against Daniel Bryan was pure gold, not to mention his two bouts against Jericho and his last match against The Rock at Elimination Chamber. Everything he touches turns into gold, while everytime Undertaker puts his legendary streak on the line you now he and his opponent will push it to the limit.

Here you have 5 reasons to why this match has the possibility to be an all-time legend, right up there with Undertaker vs Shawn Michaels at Wrestlemania 25 and Hulk Hogan vs Andre The Giant at Wrestlemania 3.

1) Their build up/promo skills
Both Punk and Undertakers are masters when it comes to build up a match and cut promos. While Cm Punk is known for his pipebombs and always knows how to gain heat, Undertaker on the other side knows how to use few words only to make it feel so epic. Look at his promos with Triple H and Shawn Michaels during the build ups before their four battles. The reason why Undertaker is so good at cutting promos is because he makes his opponent look like a valid treat, which makes the fans believe that his streak really is on the line. While Cm Punk always know what to do when he is in the spotlight. This time he used the Paul Bearer angle perfect, and gained more heat than ever before. (Not since his "Christ" time in Straight Edge Society has he gained so much heat).

2) The Paul Bearer angle
The tragic death of Paul Bearer gave this feud a fuel which will make the match feel more personal. This angle will create more reactions than ever before, and most likely gain main stream in medias all over USA. Cm Punk will not have to play the I am god angle now, because him "spitting" on the legacy of Paul Bearer will give him so much heat.

3) Their In-Ring abilities and Chemistry
Cm Punk and Undertaker had a great feud in 2009 which ended at Hell In A Cell, where Punk gained a lot of momentum even though he lost. Short time after this feud he became the most hated heel in WWE with his Straight Edge/Christs angles. Their matches where great back then, and already their first match these men proved what potential they had together in the ring. Now almost 4 years later they will face each other again at the grandest stage of them all. But the difference now is that Cm Punk is the second biggest star inn the industry now.

Their in-ring abilities and the fact that both men always delivers in big matches makes me more certain that they will steal the show.

4) Their abilities to lay it all out on the ring (Resiliency)
Undertaker kicked out of 4 finishers against Triple H at Wrestlemania 27 (3 pedigrees and one Tombstone Piledriver). While Cm Punk kicked out of 3 finishers in his match against Triple H at Night Of Champions 2011 (1 little Jimmy and two Pedigrees). Punk showed great resiliency in his last match against The Rock when he kicked out of two finishers. This is an important factor in a big match up like this. Think about it. Here is an example of what resiliency and the will to give everything out there can do to a match:

About 20 minutes into the match Cm Punk has delivered 3 Go To Sleeps but Undertaker kicked out of all of them. Then he sets up Undertaker for the Tombstone while taunting him with Undertakers "throat cutter" , but Undertaker counters it and delivers the Tombstone on Punk. You can be sure by this point the atmosphere at Metlife is electric. Undertaker has delivered a chokeslam and a last ride earlier in the match but Punk kicked out of them. But now he has delivered the Tombstone, and crosses Punks arm for the 1 - 2 - but Punk kicks out. The fans goes totally crazy now. These two goes back and foreword a bit now, and then Punk connects with another Go To Sleep, but instead of pinning him he reaches for the ropes. and then when he walks toward Undertaker and before he manages to pin him, Undertaker rises from the dead in his classical style. Punk tries to hit him but Undertaker ducks the punch, and delivers another tombstone. Once again Punk kicks out.. Now the fans will be out of air, because their so shocked. Cm Punk has then join the legendary club to Shawn Michaels and Kane, being the only men who has kicked out of two Tombstones. Now even Undertaker has doubts if he can beat Punk. But then he does his classical move, takes of his top-part, and signals with his taunt for a third Tombstone. Undertaker takes him on shoulder, but Punk manages to slip trough and counters with a round house kick. Then he puts Undertaker on the shoulders for a fifth Go To Sleep, but this time Undertaker manages to slip trough, pushes Punk away a bit, and when Punk turn back towards Undertaker, he walks into a Chokeslam. Undertaker does not pin him, instead he signals for the third Tombstone, and this time he connects for the 1-2-3. The streak lives on, but Cm Punk has just made himself an even bigger start in this business, being the "closest" one to break the streak in many opinions.

This will never happen though. But something like that could happen, and that will help to make this match even more epic.

5) The fans from NJ/NY are electric.
If you have been a Wrestlingfan for a while you know how electric the fans from New York and New Jersey are. That will be one of the factors that could sement this match into an alltime legendary clash between the two top stars.

What do you think?

Wrestlemania 29, possible match-card and results.

Wrestlemania 29 will most likely be WWE's biggest successes in history. Since Royal Rumble ratings have gone from an average of 2,9 to an 3,6 on WWE's main show Monday Night Raw. An increase of 0,7 in cable ratings which means about 750k more viewers each week. So what does this mean for the company? Its as easy as this. If more people watches Raw and Smackdown, more people will buy the PPV to see what happens.

This years show seams to have many big-name matches on the card. People like Undertaker, Triple H, Brock Lesnar and Chris Jericho has returned for this years PPV. Some matches has already been confirmed while others are still being discussed. This is a possible card that WWE will go with:

1. The Rock vs John Cena (Main Event)
Their rematch seamed like a locked case after Cena's loss to Rock last year. Most Likely Cena will win this bout, making his record against The Rock 1-1. This match could be a masterpiece if you ask me. Love them or hate them, but Cena and Rock draws a lot of cash and both men know how to put on a great show.

2. The Undertaker vs Cm Punk (Streak match)
Cm Punk is this companies second biggest star (behind Cena), and he is a master in the ring. These two legends can put up a masterpiece similar to what Undertaker and Michaels did at Wrestlemania 25. In my opinion only John Cena is big enough to end the Streak of Taker, so I would have to say that this match will go to Undertaker.

3. Brock Lesnar vs Triple H
As I have mentioned so many times before. Triple H is a good business man, but he has to big of an ego. Who brings back a machine like Lesnar only to "humiliate" him on the grandest stage of them all? If Lesnar loses to Triple H at Wrestlemania 29 he will not look like a legit opponent for Undertaker at Wrestlemania 30. So please Triple H, do what is best for business and put over Lesnar one more time.

4. Mark Henry vs Ryback
Most likely these two giants will face of at Wrestlemania 29. And what a showdown it will be. Love him or hate him, but you got to respect the abilities of Ryback. He is a great worker, and doubters should have been silenced by him by now. Henry is a business guy, so he will have no problem with putting over Ryback and giving him his Wrestlemania moment.Think about it, Ryback setting up Henry for the ShellShocked.

5. The Miz or Sin Cara vs Antonio Cesaro
Cesaro is going to face one of these two stars at Wrestlemania. If he faces Miz, he will most likely lose the title. But if he faces Sin Cara he will most likely win.

6. Jack Swagger vs Alberto Del Rio
This match is going to be great. I think Swagger will take home the win. This will set up a rematch at Extreme Rules, with a submission stipulation.

7. Chris Jericho vs Dolph Ziggler
It seams to me like Jericho has come back only to put over Ziggler, so that he could look like a legit title-holder before he cashes in the contract. And this would also put an end on their feud once and for all.

8. The Shield vs Big Show, Randy Orton and Sheamus
WWE has done it before. They have pushed new talents to greatness, and then suddenly buried them just as fast. Im hoping that this is not the case with the Shield.

These matches seams to be secure in my opinion. What do you think?
