Thoughts on how the WWE can improve their divas division!

All WWE wrestling fans knows that lately the divas division has been a joke the last couple of years, and some would say it has been a completely waste of time, which is very unfortunate. It was so good in the late 90s and early 2000s, so what happen to it? How can it be inproved? I am going to give some ideas on what I think can help improve the divas division. After you are done reading it leave us a comment and tell us what you think.

1) Booking
As of now whoever books the divas matches is not even putting any effort into making good storylines or giving the divas enough TV time to even build feuds or even give them any time for interviews. Some wrestling fans might think it isn't about talking and interviews but it is only about wrestling and yes that is how it used to be but now talking on the mic is a big part of building feuds and storylines. That is where I think the WWE needs to start, if they want to make people more interested in the divas division. They should maybe get a former divas champion to do the booking for the divas division or someone who will book the divas better then they are getting booked now at least. WWE should have a creative team that focuses only on the divas division. Tell them how much time they get for their divas each week, and let them build stories around that.

2) Feuds
I think the division for the divas is really missing big feuds like all of the other big titles have. Here is a feud that I think would really help the divas division.

Why not have Kaitlyn and AJ for the divas title?

I think that would be a great feud because they both can wrestle and there is a story behind it because they both were good friends and they both made it to the WWE around the same time. They were both in NXT and they have both been like best friends for a really long time.

That feud will make the divas division more interesting because of the skill-set that AJ and the current divas champion Kaitlyn have. They are both great in-ring competitors, and both divas are good on the mic. Give them some time, and let them build a decent feud..

3) Matches
I was just wondering why the divas can't have different kinds of matches like the other divisions? I don't know about you all but I think it would be awesome to see a divas ladder match for the divas championship or even a divas cage match. The WWE should also let the divas have different types of matches. You could give the divas a money in the bank briefcase match to, because a MITB briefcase helps the divas division building credibility.

4) TV and PPV-time
I thought that when Raw went to three hours the divas would get more TV time but I was wrong because it seems like they are getting even less. A few questions for the WWE creative team are why don't the divas ever get more than one match on Raw, Smackdown or even a PPV? Why don't they ever get to start off Raw or Smackdown in the ring talking like the other champions do? Or even how come the Divas champion doesn't get an interview before her matches on PPV's?

5) Connection with crowd
The main reason the divas division has been flopping for a while now, is because the WWE does not give the divas enough time to make connection with the crowd. If a diva get some time on the mic, and either praises or trashes the crowd, she will make a sort of connection with them. The past couple of years this has not been the case for the divas division. The only air-time they get, are for a match with another diva. Win or lose, nobody cares, because nobody really has any form of connection with them. If John Cena and Cm Punk only had air-time to do matches, but never to do a promo, how connected do you think we would have been to them then? This is the case for the divas now. Just look at AJ Lee. Last year she got a lot of time on the mic, and the fans fell in love with her. This year she has played a psycho-heel, and now fans can't stand her. Her promos has helped her making a form for connection with crowd. Because if don't have a connection with a diva, we simply don't care what she does. Give the divas time to cut promos, and let them create a form of relationship with the crowd. It could only help the divas division!

6) Create a divas-show
One way the WWE could give credibility to the Divas again, would be to make them a own show. In that way Raw and Smackdown don't have to be the place were they shine. Today there are a lot of divas-fans out there. Twitter is filled with fan-pages of girls who looks up to their idols. If the divas got their own weekly  show, they will gain credibility again. Fans will see that the WWE takes their divas just as serious as they take their male-superstars. I can guarantee you that this would be a great way to solve the problems WWE has made for themselves when it comes to the divas. The show don't have to be that long though to make an impact. It could be a one hour show, where the top divas of the WWE confront each other and solve their differences. This way the fans would make a connection with the divas, which has been a major problem lately because of the bad booking. You have NXT, Main-event, Saturday Morning Slam and Superstars, so there should not be any problem making a divas-show for the WWE.

Like I said whoever is booking the Divas should be replaced because a lot of people like me used to really enjoy the divas division.
