Who could Sheamus face at WM28?

At Royal Rumble 2012, the winner of the main event (30 man rumble match, over top rope elimination) was Sheamus. Many would now ask who he would face at Wrestlemania 28! Usually the winner chooses to face the champion from his own brand. If this is right, Sheamus will most likely choose world heavyweight Daniel Bryan as his opponent for Wrestlemania 28, fighting for the title.

But there are many possibilities for the WWE-writers/scripters. Which story-line they will make for Sheamus is unknown, but if he they are planning to let Sheamus face Daniel Bryan in a singles match at Wrestlemania 28, they need to let Bryan win his title match at Elimination Chamber.

Here are some suggestion to who he could face for the title at Wrestlemania 28:

1) Sheamus vs Christian
Christian is planning to return before Elimination Chamber, and one way for the scripters to renew the feud between Christian and Sheamus would be Christian winning the title at Elimination Chamber. Then he would defeat Daniel Bryan in a rematch at Smackdown for the title. After this he would renew his feud with Sheamus, facing him at Wrestlemania. These two got great ring chemistry, and would make a great match at Wrestlemania 28. Watch their Vengeance Match here:

2) Sheamus vs Daniel Bryan vs Christian
This would be a possibility. Bryan could loose the title at elimination chamber, but cashing in his rematch-opportunity at Wrestlemania, making it a triple treat match.

3) Sheamus vs Daniel Bryan vs Mark Henry vs Big Show
Who knows, the scripters might be creative and making the title match a fatal four way. This meaning that Daniel Bryan would maintain his title until Wrestlemania, but making it a big feud between these four superstars.

But if they do this without a real story-line, it would destroy the good reputation and value of winning Royal Rumble. Because usually the winner of Rumble should face the titleholder in a singles match at the grandest stage of them all.

Conclusion:
Anyway, Sheamus will main event at Wrestlemania 28, facing the titleholder for the World Heavyweight Championship belt. Sheamus is a great wrestler, and has good chemistry with almost anybody he enters the ring to compete against.

If you ask me it would be funny watching Sheamus vs Daniel Bryan, because they where supposed to have a United States Championship match at Wrestlemania 27, but this was cancelled by the scripters of WWE.

Will Cena turn heel, with a new Gimmick?

Everybody wandering about if John Cena's feud with Kane will eventually result in a heel-turn for John Cena. After the brutal attack on Jack Swagger, many would say that the company is planning a story-line for Cena where he turns heel before Wrestlemania 28.

For don't who doesn't know what a wrestling-heel are, I'l give you some facts:
- A heel-wrestler plays a role as the "evil" one in feuds, and usually a heel-wrestler likes to get the crowd against himself.
- Alberto Del Rio, Christian, Daniel Bryan, Mark Henry are the biggest heel-wrestlers at the moment!

My thoughts about Cena turning heel:
If you ask me, I don't think John Cena is going to have a heel-turn because of the fact that he majority group of fans are in the ages between 6-22 years old. Meaning that if he turns heel, he will probably lose most fans from the age 6-12 years (because they usually cheers for the top baby faces). If this happens, WWE will probably risk loosing a lot of merchandise-incomes because of the fact that Cena sells most shirts and advertisements to kids between 6-15 years old. I don't think the McMahon's have the balls to risk loosing some cash because of a heel-turn of Cena. But if you think it the other way, a heel-turn on the biggest superstar in the roster might improve the ratings on the shows, and then the McMahon's won't loose any cash on this "project".

Why should Cena turn heel?
Many would say that Cena should turn heel, so his "superhero" character will be forgotten, and his career would get a great push out of a heel turn. Cena will have more freedom, and his character can be more ruthless and aggressive! Much more fans will tune in every Monday to see what Cena is going to do next, and it might rise the popularity to company again!

What gimmick will the heel Cena have?
Cena will of course change his gimmick, if he is going to turn heel! Maybe the company will give him his old "ruthless aggression" gimmick back, but without his "gangster style". Then Cena will most likely change his outfit to something new and more "heelish".

Would I like to see Cena turn heel?
YES! I would loved it, because he needs a push if you ask me!

Please leave a comment, with you opinions! :)

My thoughts about Rock Vs Cena at WM28!

Many would say this is the biggest and most anticipated wrestling-match in the history of WWE/WWF/WWWF. Why?

Because WWE ain't having their shining days anymore. 2011 was a year followed by low ratings and PPVs that really flopped. Vengeance had the second lowest PPV-ticket sales in history of the company. In my last article I blogged about my opinions in how the bad scripting is having a negative effect on the ratings in the company, and what the company should change to get up their ratings.

Anyway, this match defines the modern days of the WWE. If the match don't turn out to be a successes, this will be terrible news for the company. Because it seams to me that this match works as a "joker" for the company, to get up the ratings and merchandising. So if the company flops with this match, many fans will turn their back to their television-shows (Raw and Smackdown).

But if you look at the history of big "defining" PPVs-matches, you will see that WWE have made successes almost every time. Lets take you back to some big matches:

1- Wrestlemania 12, Shawn Michaels vs Bret Hart!
These two superstars was the biggest stars in the roster at that moment, and the match was probably the second greatest match of all time, and it helped the WWE get up their ratings!

2- Wrestlemania 19, The Rock vs Steve Austin (Their 3 singles match at Mania)!
This match was important for the fans and for the company, and in my eyes it was the best of all their Wrestlemania matches, where Rock won after hitting 4 finishers on Austin.

3- Wrestlemania 18, The Rock vs Hulk Hogan!
This match defined two different wrestling-generations, and it was a epic fight between two legends! Many would say that Hogan passed the "torch" to Rock at this match.

4- Wrestlemania 26, Shawn Michaels vs The Undertaker!
After their mania 25 match, no one thought you could make a better match. But at Wrestlemania 26, Michaels and Undertaker in my eyes fought the GREATEST match in the history of the company. Why? Because this was a career vs streak match, where either the greatest wrestler of all time would end his career, or the greatest streak of all time would end. Many times I actually thought the streak would end, and the fact that Michaels kicked out of two tombstones was amazing! Loved this match, and it defined the end of an era with great superstars.

5- Money in the bank 2011, John Cena vs Cm Punk!
When Cm Punk got his breakout moment in the Company, this match defined the start of a new legendary superstar in the company. Punk defeated Cena after an epic fight, where both superstars performed like true legends. This match gave Cm Punk a great push, and at the moment His the biggest star at the roster!! Most likely he will face Chris Jericho at Wrestlemania 28!

Rock vs John Cena is the next big defining moment for WWE, and I'm sure it would be a successes, because their both amazing wrestlers. I think that Cena would win this match, because he is the biggest superstar in WWE at the moment!

Why low ratings?

WWE is facing a problem with low ratings on their shows Raw and Smack-down, and at the end of 2011 the cable ratings had an average under 3,0 (around 4,million viewers). Many would say that other great tv shows went on at the same time, but that ain't the problem if you ask me.

10 years ago, around the Golden Era in WWE, the average ratings for Monday Night Raw was 5,5 (7,5 million viewers) in cable TV. A couple years before that the ratings was around 6,0 on Monday Night Raw. Why was Raw and Smackdown so popular back then?

It's only one answer!

The shows where much better and much more entertaining 10-15 years ago. Back in the days, Raw and Smackdown made headlines all over America, because each show something unexpected and crazy stuff happened. The shows where so entertaining that it almost felt real, and the feuds between superstars where amazing.
Watch the link, and you will feel the difference:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y_WHYuuZ-wk

Now a days shows are boring, there are no feuds making any sense, and the wrestlers seams to fight each other without any real meaning. When I say real feud, I think about Rock vs Austin, Michaels vs Hart, Undertaker vs Kane, and not Sheamus vs Jinder Mahal or Justin Gabriel vs Heath Slater. Yes you have Rock vs Cena, but because Rock only appears two shows each year, it's not a real feud. Now Cena is feuding with Kane, and this feud can be good if the scripters of the show don't fuck it up.

Anyway, it's not the feuds that matters these days, because usually the superstars don't decide who to feud with. No I blame the scripters of WWE, with Stephanie McMahon as their leader. I can't stop wandering why a lady with no wrestling background and no creativity are the leader of scripting each show? The only reason she is still there, is because her father owns the company. If the shows keeps making no sense, and if the scripting don't changes, eventually there will not be any fans watching Raw or Smackdown.

It pisses me of that the company gives fans what we want, but not what we need. Yes we got Punk as champ, Bryan as Champ and Ryder as champ (for a short while), that's good, but not good enough. It doesn't matter who the champs are, if the shows aren't entertaining. The only way to make the shows entertaining, is by hiring scripters with creativity and wrestling background.

Just watch Daniel Bryan now, yes he won the title and made the fans happy, but only for about tree weeks. It took Stephanie McMahon about tree weeks to fuck with Bryan and his title reign because of her awful scripting skills. He had 3 title defends, and none of them have ended in a worthy way. That pisses me of, because it destroys the value of the titles. Giving Bryan the title was supposed to give him a push, not make him a awful champ..

If WWE want to get up the ratings of their shows, they need to do the one thing their afraid of doing. Remove Stephanie McMahon from the scripting, and hire someone who really knows how to make the shows more entertaining.

I give you some examples of what i mean:
If you wan't to make a good movie, do you use a man with no experiences from making movies, or do you use a man who already made some movies?

I'm still going to watch their shows, but it pisses me of that the company don't do something real changes to get up their ratings.

Zack Ryder, impressive! : )

After Raw Supershow 01.16.2012 Zack Ryder defended his US-title against Jack Swagger!

After being attacked by Kane on last Raw, the scripters decided to make up a back injury on Ryder after the attack from Kane. Therefore in the match Ryder had to defend the title with a story-lined injury, and this youngster from Long Island really impressed me.

Ryder showed heart as John Cena, and even though he lost the match he took his wrestling-character to a new level. Jack Swagger targeted his back, and only 3-minutes into the match Swagger used his finisher the "gutwrench powerbomb". I thought the match was over then, but no, Ryder kicked out of the finisher-maneuver. Then Swagger lifted up Ryder and hit a second powerbomb on Ryder. Once again he kicked out, (To bad the fans didn't make the noise Ryder deserved there). But then after the third powerbomb from Swagger, Ryder did not managed to kick out.

This match gave us a new US-champion, and who knows maybe these two face each other at Mania 28?

If this was a one-time case I'm not sure about, but if it wasn't, Ryder is official a A-listed superstar now.
Anyway, it was good watching Ryder developed even further (even though he lost).

My best 2011 wrestling moments!

Hey there.
Today I want to blog a short summary of my best memories of last year. I'm talking about the best matches and moments of WWE 2011.

1- Cm Punks face-turn!
After months of feuding with Randy Orton, The Nexus leader Cm Punk had his name on the top-list of the bad guys in the company. At this moment Punk was the best heel-wrestler in the company, and his feud with Orton was epic. But then after Extreme Rules, Punk and Orton was done. Cm Punk won a first-contenders match four weeks before money in the bank, and the week after he won this match he announced that his contract expired after money in the bank. Punk then said he was going to leave WWE as champion. After his announcement Company-leader Vince McMahon started to feud with Punk, leading up to Punks amazing Face-turn (The "baby-face" wrestler who fans love). After his epic match at MIB against John Cena, Cm Punk became the biggest superstar in WWE.

2- Shawn Michaels speech at "2011-Hall of fame inductees"

If your a fan of Shawn Michaels, you would agree with me that this speech was amazing. Loved every moment of it!
Watch the speech and the whole show at this link:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B3399FEIhgk

3- Triple H vs Undertaker at Mania 27!

This match was epic, even though I loved Michaels vs Undertaker even more. The best moment of the match was when Undertaker kicked out of his own finisher, the Tombstone Piledriver.
Undertaker wrote history after kicking out of 4 finishers!

4- John Cena vs Cm Punk PPVs-matches!

They had two awesome matches at MIB and Summerslam. Cena gave Punk a great career push! Punk kicked out of two finishers at MIB, and this match was rated a 5-star match (first since 1997).

5- Cm Punk vs Triple H at night of champions!

This match was awesome, even though I hoped for a Cm Punk victory, but I loved the whole match!!
Punk kicked out of 3 finishers, this was amazing! :)

6- John Cena agrees to wrestle The Rock at Mania 28!

John Cena and The Rock agreed to wrestle at this years Wrestlemania! : ) This match is going to define the future of WWE.

This was my top 6 list at 2011!
Please tell me your top 6 list at 2011! : )

Who should Undertaker face at WM 28?

Wrestlemania 28 is not all about Rock vs Cena, because there is also another match with the famous "dead" man Undertaker, who once again is going to defend his famous streak at Wrestlemania 28.

Who should he face, and will he win?

Undertaker himself claimed that no man was bigger then the company, and therefore he don't wan't his career to end with the undefeated streak at Wrestlemania. Why you might ask?
Because if Undertaker end his career undefeated at Wrestlemania there will always be a question if he could loose at the grandest stage of them all. Undertaker himself said that the streak should end so he could "end" his famous career in a "fair" way.

If Undertaker is going to loose at Wrestlemania who should be the wrestler to beat him?

In my opinion it must be a legendary superstar, and not a upcoming superstar. If a talented superstar ends his streak, his whole career is going to be about that one match against Undertaker. You might think is a good thing, but it's not. The main reason is because Undertakers streak is to big to be ended by a upcoming superstar and not a legend.

If you ask me, it's only five men big enough to end this famous streak at Wrestlemania.

1- John Cena
He is the biggest superstar at the moment, who has dedicated his life for the WWE. Love him or hate him, but Cena the past year has really developed as a superstar and as a wrestler. In 2011 Cena had great matches against The Miz, Cm Punk and Alberto Del Rio. Cena vs Punk at money in the bank 2011, was in my eyes one of the best matches in WWE in many years.
He's on going will to success, and his surviving skills in the ring would be important for him if would face Undertaker at Wrestlemania.

Think about it, Undertaker vs John Cena would be an amazing match, with kick outs and heart-stopping moments.

But if this would be a realistic match, it would have to happen at Wrestlemania 29.

2- Cm Punk
Cm Punk is the best wrestler in the world, and almost as big as Cena. Punk had many shining moments at PPVs in 2011. His match against John Cena at money in the bank was his rising moment, when he kicked out of two attitude adjustments and defeated Cena for the title. At night of champions he had a great match against Triple H, where he wrote himself in to the history books. Cm Punk kicked out of 3 finishers that night, and only 3 other superstars had done the same before him in the historybooks of WWE (Austin, Michaels and Undertaker). Punk lost the match, but it took 5 finishers to end him, and after this great match he proved to me that he is big enough to face Undertaker at Wrestlemania. Punk and Undertaker had a long lasting feud in 2007/2008, and they had great chemistry in the ring.

But i don't think this match will happen at WM 28, because Cm Punk most likely are going to face Chris Jericho.

3- Masked Kane
Kane returned to Raw with his masked gimmick. The only superstar more frighten then Undertaker is his story-lined brother (Not brothers in real life), who have feuded with Undertaker many times. Wrestlemania 14 was a historical match when Kane kicked out of two finishers from The Undertaker. The masked Kane is a superstar big enough to defeat Undertaker at Wrestlemania.

No one knows WWEs plans for Kane, and Kane could face Undertaker at Wrestlemania 28 for all we know.

4- Shawn Michaels
Shawn Michaels retired after his epic match against Undertaker at Mania 26. The heartbreak kid has been teasing the fans with a possible return, but if it's returning for promos or for some ring action, I don't know yet. Anyway, if Michaels returned, Iv'e would love to see him against Undertaker in another epic match. The showstopper is the greatest wrestler of all time, and he gave his life to this company, and a returning gift could have been Michaels ending the famous streak.

5- Triple H
It's not much to say other then the fact that Triple H had great matches against Undertaker. He is a legend, and could well end the famous streak. Personally I don't wan't to see another match against these two superstars.

WWEs scripters are planning another match between The game and Undertaker at Mania 28.

Who knows who Undertaker faces at Mania, but how many matches does has left in himself? If Undertaker would win this year at Mania, iv'e would think that he would face John Cena at Mania 29.

Tune in for more action.
Once again my English sucks.

WWE, Now a days and in the golden era!

Today i'm going to talk about what the fans can expect from the company in 2012. I wan't to talk about what they should change, and why they should change things.

Expectations for 2012:
Of course 2012 biggest and most defining moment is going to be the main event at Wrestlemania 28, when Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is going to wrestle the biggest and most controversial superstar today, yes i'm talking about John Cena. Love him or hate him, people pay to watch Cena so they can express their opinions about him. Anyway, this match is the biggest match in the WWE history. Why? I tell you why.

Because:
1- The Rock was the biggest superstar in the golden era of WWE (attitude era), and on his six "short" years in the company, Rocky fought against the greatest wrestlers in the world, and ended his career as one of the greatest wrestlers in the world.
2- John Cena is one of the biggest Superstars in the WWE history (love him or hate him), and he also has fought legends like Shawn Michaels, Undertaker, Triple H, Big Show and so on.
3- The WWE has trouble with the ratings and their popularity these days, and a comeback from "The Great One" is an attempt to get up their popularity again.
4- This match feature the two most controversial superstars in the companies history. Rock is one of the biggest actors these days, headlining films like Fast Five, Faster, Get Smart and Walking Tall.
John Cena has competed in the main event at Wrestlemania 7 years in a row, winning 5 of these matches. The 10 time WWE-champion has defeated Triple H, JBL, Shawn Michaels, Big Show and Batista at Wrestlemania, but his match at WM 28 is going to be his biggest match of all time.
5- This match is the most defining match for the WWE in the history, and a successes in this match might change a lot for the company.

The second biggest expectation for 2012, is the famous streak to the Undertaker. Will he return in time for Mania 28? Who will he face, and will the streak end?

My guess would be Undertaker vs Triple H, where Undertaker ends victorious.

The companies problems:

Even though WWE is only 14 weeks away from their biggest match in the history, they have to face with other problems in the company.

2011 was not a successes for WWE if you ask me, because of their low ratings and their horrible scripting of story-lines. The reasons of their low ratings must be their "boring" shows trough out 2011.

I wan't to talk about WWE 12 years ago in their golden era, and compare their attitude era with the 2011/2012 PG/ET era.
The attitude era had it all, great story-lines, long lasting feuds (Austin vs Rock, Kane vs Undertaker), and most important amazing shows that made high ratings. Trough the golden era, the ratings of Raw and Smack-down was super high, because each show had something crazy that happened. Big magazines and talk-shows discussed Raw/Smack-down and their superstars, and the company was always in the spotlight.
Why was it like this?

Because of the scripting if you ask me. In the golden era the scripters was former wrestlers with creative minds, who knew how to finish a story-line when they started it. The superstars was free to say what they wanted on the mic (some flopped), and each show usually had an amazing twist at the end.

Now a days, Stephanie McMahon is in charge of the scripting and making story-lines, and if you watched Raw and Smack-down trough 2011 you would agree to me when I say that you did not had a story-line that really finished. First of all let's talk about the story-line of the "anonymous-general manager at Raw." It lasted  for like 7 or 8 months, without a finish. Suddenly the computer was removed from the show, and this summer Triple H took over the role as general manager, until John Laurinaitis suddenly took over the role as   general manager. The second story-line for me is the Cm Punk revolution, that I really loved until the day after Night Of Champions. Punk and Triple H had on of the greatest match in this companies history, where Triple H was victorious. The day after the match, suddenly Cm Punk started to talk about a conspiracy that was bigger then Triple H and so on. Suddenly Punk and The Game was "best friends", while Punk after a while stopped talking about the "conspiracy", and later he won the title.

Another factor is the shows these days. They have no action, and the superstars fight each other without a meaning, and the shows are so predictable. You actually don't have a real feud going on at the shows either, and non real good story-lines (I blame the scripters). Even though the company has given the fans what we demanded (Punk as Champ, Ryder as champ, Bryan as Champ and Cena in less main events), the universe don't tune in to watch the shows. Why is that? I got two words for you: The scripters..

If the company don't change their writers and start doing something, they will loose more fans. It doesn't matter if Chris Jericho returns, if Goldberg returns, if Lesnar return or any other great superstar returns. Because the show is boring, predictable and has no great story-lines. It's not any action either, and a lot of crazy stuffs happens on the show (Zack Ryder used 20 minutes to Change a tire, and was then taken by Kane). If the company want's to change their bad ratings, they need to find new writers, and bring back those action filled shows with unexpected twists on their shows and so on. For me it seams like the "non controversial" shows happens because of the fact that Linda McMahon is running for the senate.

The main event at WM 28 will not change a thing, unless the company brings back some more creative story-lines and some more action filled shows. If they don't do this, the ratings will stay low, and the arenas will not be sold out. The company has great superstars like Kane, Cena, Punk and Ryder, now start use them right if you wan't to change something.

As always, sorry for my bad English.

My first blog

Hey there :)
This is my first blog-site, so i'm excited to finally start blogging about my favorite sport/entertainment of all time.

I'm talking about World Wrestling Entertainment/WWE.
Before I start blogging my oppinions about the buisness these days, Iv'e would like to tell a bit about myself.

I'm a 19 years old boy, who grew up in a sports-fanatic family, where winning and training was very important. Trough my childhood I competed in several different sports like swimming, boxing, Tae Kwon Do, Jiu Jitsu, Soccer, cross country skiing, ski jumping and shooting.

When I got older I started training a lot of Tae Kwon Do, but I had to retire from competing because of several injuries. I ended up with 8 gold medals from 5 different championships/events (2 National cups, 2 Nordic events and 1 Regional cup). After these 5 championships I ended up with a total of 17 medals (including the 8 gold medals), and I earned two second plases in the overall score at the Nordic events (each event crowns a overall winner, usually the one who has won most gold medals). I had earned a spot at the National Team to compete in the European Championships, but because of my injury I had to end my Tae Kwon Do career before it actually started.

Now a days I study to be a teacher, and I train soccer and boxing. My goal this year is competing at the National Championships in boxing, this happens in May.

This was my story, now I wan't to talk about wrestling. Iv'e loved wrestling a long time, because of the entertainment and fun with it. I'm not a 9 years old boy who thinks it's a real show, because I know it's scripted (Not fake you wrestling haters). But I love the drama in matches, and the intensity like for example when a superstar kicks out of a finisher maneuver. I'm a big fan of wrestling, but I don't like the way things has been going lately with the company. This is what i'm going to blog about in this future.
For the record, my favorite superstars is/was Shawn Michaels, Dolph Ziggler, Cm Punk and believe it or not John "superman" Cena.

My blog is also going the feature: News about the WWE, predictions, blogs about superstars in the WWE and other stuffs.

I'm going to blog as often as I can, and in the way I will try to improve my English writing skills ^^
Fun talking to you, follow me for updates and don't hesitate to contact me :)
